EMPLOYMENT

Real Estate Broker - Licensed and active in the State of New Hampshire, 1987-present; experience with residential, second home, commercial and land markets; focus on conservation land since 2004. Services offered include marketing and sales, buyer representation and consultation. Clients include private landowners, conservation organizations (SPNHF, NEFF, LRCT), municipal/county governments.

Land Protection Specialist - Society for the Protection of NH Forests, Concord, NH, 1998-2003. Met with private landowners, assessed goals and resource characteristics, designed projects; completed conservation easement and land gift acquisition transactions in entirety; promoted land protection through educational activities including workshops, field trips; assisted development of land acquisition criteria and land stewardship standards; reviewed potential land protection projects with staff, Lands Committee and Board; drafted legal documents and refined with legal counsel; provided technical land protection assistance to landowners, conservation commissions, natural resource professionals, attorneys, real estate brokers; collaborated with other departments on joint projects.

Conservation Manager - Lakes Region Conservation Trust, Meredith, NH, 1996-98. Evaluated and designed land protection opportunities; completed transactions including conservation easements and fee acquisitions; compiled baseline documentation for real estate interests owned; oversaw conservation easement monitoring and land stewardship programs; developed property management plans.

Director of Parks, Recreation & Facilities - Town of Meredith, NH, 1980-87. Managed a municipal department; prepared and managed an operating budget in excess of $300,000; hired, trained and supervised a seasonal staff of 15; developed, implemented year-round recreational programs for all community populations; oversaw municipal contracts for variety of park, buildings and grounds functions; responsible for park planning, design, maintenance and capital projects; managed recreational facilities; public relations; advised Town Manager on issues of department policy.
